Jagermeister’s involvement with Monster Energy Supercross is the first in the distilled spirit-brand category. In addition to sponsoring the 17-race Monster Energy Supercross season, Jagermeister will sponsor the MDK/KTM 450 team and debut their Freestyle Motocross Jump Team to perform at supercross events.

The Jagermeister Freestyle Jump Team will include top riders from around the world. Activation of the Jagermeister Monster Energy Supercross sponsorship begins with the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California on January 3, 2009.

This is my first full factory ride and having Jagermeister as our title sponsor is so exciting. Testing with KTM has gone very well I’m looking forward to the upcoming year.”

Jagermeister hand selected these riders along with Mark Kvamme of MDK Racing and Factory KTM. The Jagermeister/MDK/KTM Racing team will ride the KTM 450 SX-F, and everyone involved is thrilled with the partnership. “This is a great opportunity for our team,” said Mark Kvamme, MDK team owner. “Not only have we created a strong team with hard-charging, experienced riders, but we’ve got an impressive sponsor and partner in Jagermeister. We know this is a winning combination for an exciting experience on and off the track.”

The state-of-the-art Jagermeister Mobile Stage will be setup in parking lots of the stadiums and will feature some of the country’s biggest music acts. Jagermeister also plans to host riders and VIPs in the Jagermeister Dome.
